Practical Information
Session Times
Please arrive a few minutes earlier than the time of your session as we kindly ask clients to help set up the agility equipment for sessions and also to help put equipment away, especially at the Orston venue. This is greatly appreciated.
Clothing
Please wear sensible shoes with a good grip and appropriate clothing. If working at the outdoor venue, be prepared for wet weather.
Feeding Your Dog
For all classes we recommend that you do not feed your dog for at least two hours before you attend.
Collar/lead
Please have a flat collar and lead that attaches to the collar. Please do not use half-choke, choke collars, slip leads or retractable leads. Ideally the collar should have no dangly bits attached. You will be asked to remove any dog coats/ harnesses before your dog can work on any of the equipment.
Rewards
All our training is reward based so please bring treats and toys for your dog. Ideally bring a selection of tasty favourite treats. Items such as sausage, liver cake, cheese, chicken etc are often preferred by your dog to commercial dog treats. Also bring favourite toys, e.g. a tuggy and a ball. It may be helpful to have a couple of toys that you reserve for training only.

Water
Water is available for dogs but you may wish to bring your own.
Poo bags
Please ensure that you clean up after your dog at our training venues.
Dog Fitness
Remember that although agility is a sport that helps to keep dogs fit and active it also requires dogs to be fit and of correct body weight before they attempt it. Any issues should be discussed with the trainers.
Parking
Parking is available in the car park at our indoor venue. At the outdoor venue, parking is on private property and members are requested not to exercise or toilet their dogs in this area.
Cancellations
If for any reason the session is cancelled you will receive a text on your mobile phone unless other arrangements have been made.
